The Challenge
Early detection of skin conditions requires consistent, high-quality imaging and analysis that most consumers cannot access outside clinical settings. Existing telehealth solutions lack the precision of in-person dermatological assessment, creating a gap in preventative healthcare.
Our Approach
We built a multi-stage imaging pipeline combining custom capture guidance, automated quality validation, and deep learning models for lesion detection, segmentation, and classification. The system tracks changes over time using spatial registration, enabling longitudinal risk assessment that mirrors clinical workflows.
Results
The platform achieves dermatologist-comparable accuracy on common conditions while running on consumer smartphone cameras. Longitudinal tracking enables early detection of changes that would otherwise go unnoticed between annual checkups.
